We work with just about anyone and any situation, but let’s touch on addiction for a moment. Studies show that about 90% of people who need addiction services don’t get it. There are many related issues that are impacted by addiction such as crime, accidents, blood-borne illness, hunger, homelessness, and financial strain. These problems won’t go away on their own. We have to take ownership and invest in solutions that will turn lives around and prevent these problems from ever starting or reoccurring. This includes any other life challenge, such as COVID funk/anxiety, stress, couples and family issues, and most other mental health issues. Just growing in faith and applying faith in practical ways can make a huge difference for anyone!
What makes us unique in the Miami Valley and beyond, is that all of our services are in a faith-based environment under one roof. Our team has built a strong organization and keeps learning, growing, and developing new services. We embrace culturally diverse clients and volunteers to contribute to the effectiveness of those services and help everyone grow. In the last year, we’ve had contributors from over 20 states and 6 time zones! Many of those contributors are benefitting, too. Students and others are seeing how with MA, they can get help, help others, feel connected, build their résumé – and grow in faith while they’re doing it! Our plans are to take the insights we’re gaining and share them digitally so more people locally AND outside the area can benefit.
You can help us make a difference with a one-time or monthly financial contribution via PayPal:
$10 for gently used Bibles or devotionals, light printing costs, weekly promotional costs
$495 to fully sponsor a participant in our aftercare program – The MAP for Healing & Recovery
$1,000 to support our helpline for a year, new program development work, or special outreach events throughout the year
Any amount is a blessing and could also count toward unavoidable expenses, internship stipends, professional service fees, and the hiring of permanent staff.
We’re also in the market for older or gently used laptops and Chromebooks.
We’re always looking for people to help our mission through volunteering, networking, and prayers. Get involved in other ways.
Thank you for your support!
