Coaching/
mentoring.

Our caring, Christian coaching and mentoring team members are here to listen, encourage, support you and pray for you, for almost any life challenge. We offer this service to individuals, couples, families and friends – and in any combination. After-hours appointments are possible. There are several locations around the Dayton, Ohio area where we conduct face-to-face sessions. For those long distance or with transportation challenges, video conference or tele-health appointments are available.

All coaching and mentoring is confidential and provided on a charitable basis, free of charge.

You can receive this service on its own

or as part of a package. Please see our

Map For Healing and Recovery Program.

If you wish to support

the mission, we gratefully accept donations.

The Team!

Our coaching and mentoring work is accomplished through faith-based, background-checked volunteers who have received training from Mission Addiction. Although some volunteers may independently hold professional qualifications, Mission Addiction does not require any individuals providing coaching and mentoring services to hold any type of professional licensure to operate in a volunteer capacity. However, we offer referral services to licensed mental health professionals for those who desire or need credentialed provider services.

Healing
Prayer.

The spiritual inner healing prayer is one of our more advanced faith services. It’s also one of the most impactful for people.

There are many references to the

devil or the enemy in scripture:

  • “We know that we are children of God and the world around us is under control of the evil one.” (1 John 5:19)

  • “Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.” (1 Peter 5:8)

  • “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” (John 10:10, spoken by Jesus)

Spiritual

Warfare

is real.

Whether we have crossed a line and sinned, or someone has betrayed us in some way, it could “give the devil a chance,” “an opportunity,” or “foothold.” (Ephesians 4:27)  The healing prayer session is a surprisingly matter-of-fact, cleansing process. We’ll walk through your life, pray through the rough parts and leave them spiritually, at the cross of Jesus. For those looking to “recover your life” physically, emotionally, relationally and spiritually, this process can be an important step. Baptism.

Do you know what it means to be saved

or what it takes to get to heaven?

What does the bible say about it?

When is the right time and what are

the right reasons for baptism?

We have a bible-based baptism class that will help you understand baptism better
and prepare you for this
life-changing decision.

“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.”

(written by the Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Romans 10:9-10)

Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.

Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

(Acts 2:38)

We can also officiate the ceremony, for individuals, couples and families.

Prayer
Support.

Thanks for the message! We shall get back to you shortly!

To submit a prayer request to our prayer team,

please use

the form.

Prayer is the best way to communicate with God. It brings us closer to him. When we spend time with him, he works to change our heart to be more like his. If prayer doesn’t come naturally for you, try this approach:

P – Praise: Thank God for who he is and what he has done for you; count your blessings.
R – Repent: Be honest about your sins. Own them and take steps to eliminate that behavior.
A – Ask: Tell God about your needs and the needs of your loved ones.
Y – Yield: Surrender, listen for direction, answers, and be aware of his presence during and after prayer.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.

Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds

anything we can understand.

His peace will guard your hearts and minds

as you live in Christ Jesus.

(Philippians 4:6-7, NLT)

Our prayer and God’s mercy are like two buckets in a well;

while one ascends, the other descends.
